Regulators are today increasingly involved in transnational cooperations organised at the regional level. The EU is a case in point, but there are several other networks of regulators of this kind. What is the purpose of these various forums: sharing experiences and best practices, working on harmonisation, empowering national regulators? What are their characteristics in terms of legal status, membership, modus operandi? How to qualify and assess their outcomes?

The purpose of this workshop will be to benchmark various experiences in different regions and industries, and to highlight the trends and the lessons that can be drawn.
